Yamaha CA-810 Amplifier
Cosmetically - Nearly flawless.
Mechanically - Good mechanical condition. Everything works as it should.
This has been my main amplifier for nearly 25 years and has worked wonderfully. Second owner. I kept it powered off when not in use or turned off surged protector 99% of time owned.
If you know anything about Yamaha integrated amps.. and even if you don't; they're highly desirable because of their distortion factor. -Meaning you literally get no extra hum or hiss along with your music, etc., Along with a low distortion factor, these things have great punch and reproduce mids and highs fantastically. These amps are great for a variety of music, however, they really sing when it comes to Jazz, Big Band, Rock, and especially Classical.
Another thing that sets this amplifier apart from most is that it has the ability to integrate turntables that utilize moving magnet cartridges. This is something you don't find often, as they require a different type of input level to be picked up by the amplifier.
Integrated amps are a dying breed these days. Sure, you can find a variety of vintage amps on here, but Yamaha; along with Pioneer & Marantz were your finest in the HiFi days.
I do also have the matching Tuner (CT-810) if you're interested. If you are interested.. let me know. Perhaps we can work out a package deal.
