Up for sale is this vintage
RCA 13280-B Tube Amplifier w/ Original Box!
I purchased this amp at a recent estate sale and it will ship to you just like I found it. The box is stamped US Coast Guard Supply Center (Brooklyn, NY) on the top so I believe that this amp was
manufactured
for the military/Coast Guard? It is very similar to the RCA
12182-A amp - notice that the original label is stamped 12182-A and then that is crossed out with the 13280-B handwritten. Pretty cool!
I have not tested the amp nor have I tested the tubes. You are buying what you see, as is. The amp looks to be in really good/clean condition. The box does show some wear but is intact. Also included are 2 mounting straps w/ their original tags. All in all - a GREAT piece to add to your collection.
