Consignment sale for a collector who is downsizing. Our client acquired it from a government defense lab and believes it to have been refurbished by the engineers there. We think that that is certainly possible, given the pristine condition, and that the Phillips head screws support the hypothesis. We have no proof of that, however and it could just as easily have been kept as a spare (making it a New Old Stock unit) or the explanation could be something else entirely.
Prior to listing it was tested the to power on and we were able to perform a line adjustment and center the meter. Otherwise untested and sold as-is, officially "for parts or not working" with no guarantee of functionality or completeness whatsoever. As with all vintage test equipment, you should expect to have to refurbish it prior to use.
This is the only one on the market with photographic proof of testing - don't let it get away!
