Vintage TWA Korea plates and cups

6 plates and 6 cups plates are 7 3/4" x 5 1/4" cups are 2 3/8" tall This set of really neat TWA airline dishes is from a bygone era! TWA began operations in 1925 and closed their doors in 2001. I presume that these are first class ticket items back when you dressed up to fly on a plane and there was ample seat room! The dishes are white and have an Asian country scene of trees, mountains and a raised, thatched outdoor room where two people are probably having a meal and / or tea. The plate has an additional scene of trees, mountains, water and more thatched homes. These scenes are in black with gray. Very unique and very collectible.
