VINTAGE TECHNICS SU-A6 STEREO CONTROL AMPLIFIER / PREAMP, EXC CONDITION!

Here for your consideration is a beautiful vintage Technics SU-A6 stereo control amplifier (preamp) in excellent overall condition, both visually and functionally.  This is a superb preamp in every respect.  All functions work as they should and it simply sounds fantastic.  There are some minor marks on the top of the unit, but overall it's in excellent cosmetic condition.  It has a sweet sounding phono section for your classic vinyl, with switching for two turntables and moving magnet or moving coil cartridges on Phono 1 (Phono 2 is moving magnet only).  It has an Aux input for your CD/digital tape machine, etc, as well as monitoring and 2-way dubbing for two analog tape decks. There are switched and un-switched AC outlets on the rear of the preamp.  The clear plexiglass door at the lower part of the preamp (over the lesser used controls) is in perfect condition.   This preamp is the perfect match for vintage Technics SE-A3 and SE-A5 basic power amplifiers; although it will work and sound great with any basic power amplifier (or receivers and integrated amps that have "preamp-in" jacks).  It's worth noting that unlike many audio companies, Technics does not include a headphone jack (output jack) on their preamps, instead opting to include them on their basic power amplifiers.  So, this preamp does not include a headphone jack. I mention this in case that feature is important to you.
I'm in the process of thinning my collection of audio gear, as I have too many pieces to use them all!  If you're looking to build a great vintage audio system, this can serve as the center piece of a great one!  My hope is that it will go to someone who can fully enjoy it.  Sorry, I don't have the original box or owner's manual. The operating voltage is 120 volts AC, 50/60 Hz.
