VINTAGE SANSUI MODEL 1000A STEREOPHONIC TUBE AMPLIFIER TUNER FOR REPAIR, PARTS, RESTORATION. The unit powers on but I am unable to do a thorough test. I know enough about these to keep my hands away from where they do not belong. All of the knobs work as they should with no wobble, the rockers also work fine clicking into place, the on/off button pushes in and clicks but is a little slow returning to the off position. The power cord looks great, no drying or cracking. There are a couple of service tags that I found that I can only guess pertain to this unit since one of them describes "x's" marked on tubes, and there are some tubes with such marks. The receiver is dent free and looks very good. However there are a couple of places where the one original owner lightly etched his name and address on the chrome top line of the unit and along one of the vents on the cover. I took the maximum number of pictures allowed to show the overall appearance. Look at them closely as they are a big part of the description.
