1 VINTAGE 1940's DODGE FLOATY MECHANICAL PENCIL ADVERTISING MOPAR FLUID DRIVE TRANSMISSION (circa 1946?).

Item is about 80 years old.  Details.
    ~
    Engraved:
"DODGE Smartest Car Afloat!   Dickson-Hoak Co., Sioux City, Iowa, Phone 80691"
NOTE: founded in 1945, Dickson-Hoak Plymouth Dodge was later
run by the founder's grandson Eric Hoak
    until 2012.  Today
the dealership is known as Billion Cadillac Buick GMC of Sioux City .
    ~
Metallic blue Dodge sedan "floats" inside the top (moves left or right by gravity when mechanical pencil is tilted).
~ This is a Mechanical Pencil (not the more common pen).  Functions perfectly: Twist the tip of the writing end to extrude more pencil lead.
~ Includes 1 pencil lead loaded into the pencil, 1 spare lead, and a hardened pink eraser inside the top.
~ The plastic threads of the top section threads snugly, but not tightly into the base.  It's a snug threaded connection
