Description
In 1971 Dynaco released their classic line of integrated amplifiers with the SCA-80 being their top dog at 40 watts per channel. It's been 50 years and this amp is still in high demand. Mainly because of its value as a high quality amp at a great price. This one is super clean and working great. All buttons/knobs/features work as they should. I opened it up, gave it nice cleaning/deox and even gave the case a fresh coat of paint! If you're thinking of trying out a vintage amp this is a great choice. In the last pic I put the review from High Fidelity magazine from March, 1971. I hope it's legible!https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/dynaco/sca-80.shtml
A word about vintage electronics:
On everything I sell I check all the features to make sure everything functions as it should. If there is anything wrong I will clearly state that in the description. That being said, this is vintage electronic equipment. Most of these items are 40+ years old. It is standard policy anywhere that vintage electronic equipment is sold that it is “as is” and there are no returns. This is, as I stated, standard policy when purchasing vintage products of any type, especially electronics. It is unfortunate that I have to state this, but there are some buyers who will claim that the product is damaged or not functioning in order to get a partial refund after the transaction is completed. Also, the problem of “parts scalpers” is very prevalent in the vintage electronics marketplace. Sorry for being a Debbie-downer but all buyers must be aware of this “vintage policy” before they make their purchase. Thanks.
