This is a Sylvania Model 55C31F 6V6 single ended stereo power amp console pull. It was tested on my bench with speakers and a preamp and it worked fine and sounded quite good.
I've decided to sell the unit "AS IS" for restoration or parts rather than refurbish it myself, as often these amps are upgraded and become very nice. It does look to be quite simple under the hood with very few caps and resistors and lots of room to work. One certainly could replace the multistage can cap with individuals under the chassis and leave the can in place but out of the circuit to retain the vintage look.
I really would keep it as I like the tubes, size and the layout, but I already have too many other amps here, so I've decided to let this one go.
