This is a new and unopened complete STAMPED crosstitch project of a LAP QUILT entitled "Wildflower Botanical." This wonderful design features a plethora of vibrant perennial herbal wildflowers, whose names you stitch in flowing script, that are a perfect combination of styles: the bright yellow flowers of the Celandine Poppy make splash in spring; Milk Thistle is a white-veined plant with sharp, spiny flowers and a purple center; Comfrey with its lovely violet-hued flowers on a spiral-shaped stalk that hang downwards like small bells; Mimosa flower with its bright yellow color, a symbol of vitality and joy; Mugwort is favored for its deep green foliage; Yarrow is an herb that has beautiful little pink disk flowers. Blue Vervain, with its branched spikes of light cobalt blue blossoms; Valerian, an attractive fern-like plant with fragrant pinkish flowers; St John’s Wort, with distinctive yellow five-petaled flowers; Currants, whose red berries are a favorite of hummingbirds; Broadleaf Plantain is wild, edible and nutritious food; Saffron flowers or popularly known as crocus have long been associated with the expensive spice; The Forget-Me-Not flower is one of the most beautiful flowers that exist, attracting butterflies and bees; Lavender is femininity all grown up. It represents refinement, grace, and elegance and Calendula flowers follow the sun, gathering in those gentle, fiery, nourishing energies.
