Professionally refurbished, this is a powerful & flexible integrated amplifier. At 85-watt-per-channel it's rated conservatively; reviews from Stereo Review & Audio indicate that it produced around 100 wpc into an 8-ohm load. It plays loud, with plenty of headroom to spare. The tone controls for bass and treble can be switched out of the signal path for you purists. Those who use them will appreciate the variable settings of 3 kHz/6 kHz for treble and 200/400 Hz on the low end, more useful than standard controls that have no adjustments. Also featured are 2 sets of speaker outputs (A & B), a ¼” headphone jack, a filter section, Loudness compensation, & 6 different inputs able to handle 2 turntables & 2 tape decks including a full-featured tape record/monitor function.
