#E5378.  A rare 1975 Sansui AU-6600 Integrated Stereo Amplifier,  really nice cosmetic condition. Front panel is really clean and free from scratches all original knobs are there.  Sides are also in great cosmetic condition with the original PASSED test sticker on side and another sicker 117v on the other side.  Back is also very clean with only some rust on the back right side, only cosmetic doesn't affect functions at all.   The unit has just been serviced and test benched and all function work as they should. An invoice for the service and description of work will be included .  A rare find for the Audiophile .
I have been using it for the last week with both a Vintage Pioneer tuner and an old cassette deck player , good vintage speakers but not the best and the sound this unit produce is amazing !!  Would not mind keeping it at all.

This Sansui AU-6600 is absolutely lovely....in looks and definitely in the sound! I am lucky to be able to enjoy this amp. Sound is powerful and warm, detailed and clear. I use it with a pair of Dynaco A-25 speakers. A great match! I had a Sansui AU-505 a few years ago and it was a great sounding unit, but this amp is a step above, with more power and bass punch! I absolutely love the tone control circuit which has a true bypass. This is the best sounding and functioning amp that I have owned to date! Very sexy looking too! I definitely appreciate the, Sansui Sound, and under the hood, the engineering and layout is beautiful! I appreciate vintage beauty and this amp will continue to be enjoyed for many more years!
I have purchased a wide range of audio equipment, both tubes and solid state, over the years. This is one of my favorite amps. This amp is incapable of producing a bright sound with the speakers I tested with it. What really impresses me is the highs are non-fatiguing, yet provide very good detail.
I listen to both vocals and instrumentals. Whether I'm listening to flute, piano, vibes, etc the presentation is very realistic, Vocals are good too.
It includes 2 aux settings which gives me 3 usable settings, including tuner setting.
Tone controls are effective in fine tuning your listening taste. Has a mute switch to turn down volume very low as well as loudness switch to boost low volume.
Black face with silver knobs with 1 red power light, very classy and subdued.
40 watts per channel. I have tested with speakers 90-98 db range. The amp pushes them with no problem.

Sound is powerful and warm, detailed and clear. I use it with a pair of Dynaco A-25 speakers. A great match! I had a Sansui AU-505 a few years ago and it was a great sounding unit, but this amp is a step above, with more power and bass punch! This Sansui AU-6600 never fails me since 1979 when my dad bought as a second-hand item. Ever since, I've been playing turntable through this amplifier with no issue & great sound ! It finally underwent an overhaul 2 years ago whereby the PCBA circuitries have to be replicated due to aging. Now it's back to perform equivalent to it's hey days crossing it's 41st anniversary since it's birth in 1975 !!!

I picked this up on ebay, the amp was restored by the seller (has good reputation for restoration work, fully recapped).

I listen to both vocals and instrumentals. Whether I'm listening to flute, piano, vibes, etc the presentation is very realistic. Vocals are good too, although I believe my tube amp has the edge (mids more forward than with this amp).
The headphone jack sounds excellent with my seinhauser hd600 headphones. Also includes 2 aux settings which gives me 3 usable settings, including tuner setting. I have not used the phono input.

One word of advice purchasing vintage integrated amps. Purchase them fully restored with a return policy. This may alter the sound due to new components but will provide you with years of trouble free service and in my opinion sound better with the right restoration.
