    Description

This Deluxe Restoration kit features Wima film caps. We also have a standard kit available.
    This kit includes:
80 capacitors (28 of which are Wima film caps)
    24 transistors
    4 Trimmers
    1 relay with mounting
This is a Restoration kit for the
    Pioneer SA-9500 Integrated Amplifier
. This kit includes caps for ALL boards but does not include the large filter caps. I can provide you with a part number to order the Filter caps from a distributor but I do not stock them or have the ability to offer them at a better price than Mouser or Digikey.
Also includes 5 trimpots and 12 replacement transistors. This kit does include the relay and mounting piece shown.
Easy to install, this kit replaces all electrolytic capacitors. Bad capacitors are a primary cause of problems. Improves sound and reliability
Includes digital access to both the service and owner's manual.
The kit replaces electrolytic and tant caps with high quality new ones sourced via
    reputable USA distributors
like Digikey and Mouser. Caps are
    Nichicon
high quality UKL and UPW capacitors, Any capacitor of 4.7uf or lower is replaced with a high quality Wima film caps for better sound and reliability.
    Transistors
are also sourced the same way and almost all are highly reliable
    ON-Semi
devices. Not all (not even most) transistors get replaced, just those that time and collective knowledge have shown to be either noisy, unreliable or at the edge of their operating ability.
    Trimmers
    are supplied by
    Bourns
The individual doing the work should be competent with a soldering gun, multimeter, reading a schematic etc. I am not a tech, but I have successfully done hundreds of restorations over the last 20 years.
Many of the parts lists for these kits were compiled when we restored units, others are sourced from the service manuals (digital download included in purchase if you don't know how to source it). We have compiled parts lists for well over 200 units for units from Marantz, Technics, Pioneer, Sansui, Harman Kardon, etc. We do not sell kits for tube gear currently.
If the service manual is wrong (it does happen) we will ship you out the correct parts free of charge. The same is true if we make a mistake in compiling the kit ( I hope not but just in case). We want this process to go smoothly for you.
Included is a two page instruction/guidance sheet with some helpful hints. It is not a step by step guide. But, with it, the service manual, our part number labeled parts list you will have everything you need to get the job done.
The kit will ship (usually the next day) via USPS First Class with tracking.
We have bought in bulk hoping to provide the community with an easy, time and cost effective solution. Any feedback on how to do that better is appreciated.
