Here is a beautiful very near mint condition example of the NAD preamplier, the flagship separate component from the NAD Monitor Series.  This superb preamp is in perfect working condition and has enjoyed light and very gentle use by just one owner since it was purchased new in 1989.  The Monitor Series represents the pinnacle of NAD's excellence during the analog era, and the 1300 features the finest preamplification in the entire lineup.
Despite the elegantly simple control layout, the 1300 is loaded with features.  The phono stage not only has built in switching for moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, but also a switch with three different positions to adjust to match the capacitance specs of particular cartridges.  On both bass and treble, you can select three different roll-off frequencies for each control.  There is a switchable infrasonic filter, a switchable effects loop, a null switch and a bass eq switch (which boosts the lower midrange and bass for a fuller listening experience at lower listening volumes).  Jacks to connect two recording decks, with bi-directional dubbing and monitor switches on the front panel.  Two differently calibrated line level outputs to match with your power amplification.  See NAD's description of the 1300's features and the complete factory specs in the accompanying images.
This classic preamp compares very favorably to other vintage preamps from names like APT Holman, ADCOM, etc.  If you want to build an excellent signal path for analog sources, this will fit the bill.  You will be very hard pressed to ever find a nicer example of this model.  We are including reprints of the original factory owner's manual and product literature.
