IF Anybody can do this type of build for 300.00 my opinion it’s impossible to build something like this for the opening bid,the Mod Squad PASSIVE preamp sells for more than the opening bid..Good luck finding something like this with a phono stage too...THIS is a VERY FAIR opening bid for this Modified Dynaco Preamp In A Mod Squad Chassis W/Separate Power Supply.Sound Gr8. Condition is "Used".I bought this preamp a while back and I hooked it up to a power amp and used the iPod as a source and it sounds fantastic...Dynaco gear is quite underrated but the guy I got this from modified it and separated to power supply connected by a cord to the preamp inside a mod squad preamp...So the second dial to the left is a “ dummy” knob to keep the appearance..this has a phono stage but it’s untested yet...JUST Tested the PHONO STAGE...Works great..Last photo shows the turntable hooked up to the preamp.. I’m using one of the inputs and it sounds nice the power amp in the photos is NOT included only the preamp..I ended up getting a Music Hall Maven and my buddy sent me a separate phone stage so this has been sitting around..I cannot give a guarantee because of the age of the preamp but as of now while I’m posting this auction,I’m listening to it now..If you was to get something like this in high end audio today it would cost some nice loot to get something like this...The guy I got this from knew what he was doing because I’m quite impressed with the sound and I’m just using tiny speakers and zip cord to the speakers.Imagine if upgraded cables was used...I did use a 1/2 meter silver coated copper interconnect from amp to the preamp...So I’m going to see what you EBay bidders are willing to offer or the opening bid...I’m downsizing and I really hardly use my audio setup as much as I used to....Add shipping the box will be 20x15x6 and about 25 pounds total..Double boxed and packed well..Can be sent by priority mail or FEDEX ground your choice..Placing a bid means you accept the following,FINAL SALE AS IS No Returns...Thanks for stopping by...THE PHONO STAGE WORKS FANTASTIC?..The photos have been updated to show the back...One tape out and two main outputs...
