Marantz 1060 stereo integrated amplifier

The Marantz 1060 integrated stereo amplifier is one the most highly regarded vintage amps on the market, known for its wonderful, full rich sound and superior build quality.
The amplifier has jacks to accommodate two loudspeaker systems (each speaker rated between 4 and 16 ohms), and four pairs of RCA-type input jacks labeled “tuner,” “aux 1,” “tape,” and “phono.” I used the “aux 1" to connect from a DAC wired to a digital music player. Also are separate “tape in” “tape out” jacks. And a headphone jack on the front panel. The unit can be used as an integrated amp or as a separate preamp or separate amp.
One of the electrical sockets on the back is chipped but fully operational. The front-face panel top right corner edge is slightly dented. On the underside of the cabinet chassis rail are two oxidized spots, which have been treated and cleaned. See photos. There are no dents or scratches, the cabinet, knobs and connections are in very good condition.
This Marantz 1060 was manufactured in Japan circa 1975 and has had two owners. It was originally purchased by a small ad agency and used in its conference room. I’ve had it in my family room hifi system since 1999. I hate to part with it but have recently downsized.
As far as maintenance, caps were replaced, power supply replaced, the entire unit, including switches, pots, jacks, was thoroughly cleaned in 2005. And in 2019 the preamp transistors were replaced and the unit was cleaned, all functions were tested and checked out against specifications. It has many years of service ahead. This is simply a wonderful sounding amplifier.
