Marantz 1060 Stereo Integrated Amp. Tested/Serviced, Working. LED + Recap'd PSB

Description

This listing is for a Marantz 1060 Integrated Amplifier in fair cosmetic and excellent functional condition. It is rated at 30 wpc @ 8 Ω.
The unit has been tested/serviced.
The Power Supply Board was re-cap’d with quality Nichicon capacitors.
A new LED was installed in the power indicator. A copy of the owner’s manual will be included.
The following outline covers the testing/service work done:

All speaker connections have been tested and are working, both right and left channels
·
Tuner, Aux 1 & 2 and Tape inputs and outputs were tested and function as expected.
·
Phono input functions as expected.
·
Headphone jack was tested and is working.
·
All Switches and Potentiometers were flushed with contact cleaner, followed by treatment with the appropriate DeoxIt treatment.
·
The faceplate and all knobs were removed, cleaned and hand polished.
·
The Power indicator lamp was replaced with an LED style lamp.
·
The Power Supply Board was recapped with quality Nichicon capacitors.
·
Cleaning on all exterior surfaces was done to improve appearance
·
The foam cushioning used on the underside of the metal top was replaced to ensure a better fit
·
The power cord was inspected and cleaned.
·
The original Pre-Out/Main-In jumpers were missing.
A suitable substitute pair is included.
·
Any missing top cabinet or bottom plate screws were replaced
·
All feet were inspected and replaced as needed.
·
DC Offset and Idle Current adjustments were set to factory specification
·
Watts/channel was checked using a Peak and RMS Output Meter to meet/exceed model specs
·
A final extended use test was performed to ensure functionality.
Please note:
There are several cosmetic issues (see last 3 pictures): the face plate has several small marks that did not polish out.
One of the knobs has small scratches.
The top right corner of the faceplate is slightly bent.
There is a small slice in the wood grain vinyl top along the left side.
None of these issues effects the functionality of the unit.
Please do not bid if you do not accept these issue as described/pictured.
