Lionel 082 Automatic Semaphore Green 1935 Transition Prewar O Gauge X7011

Description

Automatic Train-Control semaphore is 14.75” tall, probably made 1935, transition year. It has a green diecast base that is slightly darker shade of 45N green, has “082” number on rear panel, 1936 and after would have 82N, and paint chips on upright post show factory silver painted over cream. It has train-stop control mechanism, not tested. Original base has tiny pimpling, but is stable, not fatigued, finish has wear and light dirt, bend at end of flag. Original wiring has some insulation loss, some corrosion on top bracket. Bench-tested with jumpers, light and flag solenoid worked, as is, no warranty. It will require track trips and insulated track section for layout use. It is marked for O gauge, but works with Standard gauge too.
