H.H. Scott 222c Stereo Master Integrated Tube Amp

HH Scott 222c is a very desirable Vintage HI-FI component from 1962. This was Modified by the Maple Shade people back east about 6 years ago for a friend of mine now passed on, who was a HI-FI fanatic from the late 50's on. He took great pride in his art of gutting chassis and installing his own designs from Tube to Solid State and back. This amp was hooked into his system at his passing.
The Amp was modified to allow Phono Hookup, Tuner, Extra and two other inputs. All tone balance and switch controls are disconnected except for the far right switch (on-off ) and 2nd to the left (Phono or other inputs) plus Phono, Tuner and Extra Dial is properly working
The push pull off on attenuator has been replaced with a nice step volume control.
As you can see there are only two 12ax7 preamp tubes and the other two were replaced for extra capacitors. This amp by far exceeds the originals capacitance quite a bit, as Maple Shades reasoning was for better bottom and transients (Dynamic range) and perhaps (have no way of testing this) an extra 4-6 watts of power in the process up to 26 watts instead of the original 20 watts. The Amp runs my 92db A/D/S L520 speakers fine. However its always assumed that db rating of say 98 or higher is always on the plus side at this rate power.

The back ground is pure black quiet with this amp.

NOTE: THERE IS NO TOP NOR BOTTOM PLATE SUPPLIED WITH THIS AMP. INSTEAD OF THE BRASS FOOTERS I USED ISO-BLOCKS WHICH I WILL INCLUDE WITH THE AMP IF BUYER DOES NOT WANT THE BRASS FOOTERS.
