For sale is a vintage, original,
    H. H. Scott 299D Tube Stereo Integrated Amplifier, with phono stage
The transformers are big and massive.
As shown, there are no tubes included in this sale. The fuse holder was replaced. I borrowed some tubes for testing on a variac dialed to 80 volts. I didn't get music passed to the connected speakers. When I wiggled some of the tubes, I did get noise in the speakers. So, I am sure the power and two output transformers are all good.
This amplifier is to be sold as is; it needs some service and repair. My low asking price reflects this condition it is in.
Physical condition is good for the age. The front is fine, in need of some cleaning. All original knobs. No bent corners. Chassis has accumulated dust which needs cleaning too. No bottom plate though.
This sale includes the amplifier itself only, as shown in the pictures. Nothing else is included.
Local cash and carry is great. Otherwise, I will pack well for shipping.
