Fisher Model X-101 Integrated Tube Amplifier. I recently acquired this amp from its long time owner along with some other tube audio gear. I brought it up to voltage with a variable autoformer. The amp came up to power with no excessive current draw. I also injected a signal and it sounded very good with sound from both channels. However after about 5 minutes, one of the filter can capacitors started to get hot and I shut it down. No doubt, the amp could benefit from a full restoration. As you can see, the power switch has been replaced with a toggle switch mounted to the front panel. Also, is has a 5u4 rectifier in place of the 5AR4 rectifier. The EL84 tubes look to be Russian equivalents. It will make someone a nice restoration project and a great amp to use daily. Buyer pays shipping in CONUS.
