Some of the Eico amplifiers are the best kept secret of vintage audio. Unlike McIntosh from the same era with glossy chrome and elegantly black covered transformers Eicos are modest almost industrial or military looking. But looks can be deceiving because Eico put quality where it matters the most...in the transformers. Look at those beasts!
When properly restored, as this one is, Eico amps are some of the best sounding. Very powerful, detail, dynamic yet smooth.
I love this amp  but I have too many amplifiers and I am not using it enough.
