This is an example of a very nice Stock Dynaco ST70 amplifier. It was taken to a technician who looked it over and ensured that it was brought up to good operating specifications. That included a selenium rectifier bypass diode as that is the weak point of any amps this age.
The spots on the chassis were oxidation that I have cleaned off. It basically is as clean as it is going to be.
The unit works good, sounds good, comes with a new JJ rectifier tube and adapters for use of 6U8 or 6GH8 tubes in place of the hard to find 7199 tube, Note same adapter will work for both tube types. The 6GH8 tubes are included.
Output tubes EL34 or 6CA7 are not included with the sale. It is up to you; as each person has their own opinion of what they want.
The cage is fairly nice, however one end is not and can be seen in the picture number 11.
Like all used equipment I sell, I have described these units accurately and show units properly in pictures. Due to potential buyer issues, they are being sold as-is and returns are not accepted.
