DYNACO ST-70 TUBE TYPE STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER (Unmolested)

Description

This is a DYNACO ST-70 TUBE TYPE STEREO POWER AMPLIFIER, that is in Beautiful condition. This is about as close to Original Condition as you can find. I rebuilt the HV Power Supply and the Bias Supply, sticking to the original schematic. The main Electrolytic Can Capacitor is new, as well as the 2 caps in the Bias Supply. The printing on the tubes are worn off. The Output Tubes are 2 original Tubes that are labeled "Made in Great Britton" and believed to be Mullards, there is another EL34 that is labeled "Made in Holland", and believed to be Amperex, and the last EL34 is branded RCA, and test strong. The 7199 Drivers appear to be original, and all tubes test OK. This is a real Stereo 70 as designed by Dynaco, and not modified to be something else. This is the real thing! The coupling Caps on the board all test OK. This Amplifier sounds great, and you might just consider keeping these tubes in place. This is in great shape for being 50+ Years old, and I see no evidence of heat damage, which would tell me that this unit was run with the cage off to let it run cool. The cage is in excellent condition. Because of its age, I am not selling it with any guarantees, with no returns. This Amplifier is already packed and will be shipped "Double Boxed", so that it arrives at your home in the same condition as it left my home. Double Boxing adds to the shipping cost.
