Dynaco PAS upgrade kit, the ULTIMATE PAS upgrade, no tone controls

Description

This is our ultimate PAS upgrade kit, completely replacing the original Dynaco PAS circuitry including a lot of the functions.
This kit does away with the tone controls, replaced by an Aikido classic line preamp. It consists of 6 kits with their pcb's and parts, plus new volume and balance controls with the correct values to suit our circuits.
These kits are a new 12AY7 based phono preamp, new 12AX7 based Aikido line preamp, new solid state regulated power supply for both DC filament and high voltage B+, selector switch with its own pcb, LED pilot light and a 7 way RCA in and output pcb. These are all 'loose' kits and require assembly and soldering. Wires and mounting hardware is NOT included, the only exception is the LED pilot light.
A full set of assembly instructions are also included. Tubes are NOT included, you will need 2x 12AY7's and 4x 12AX7's.
This ultimate kit will
replace
the following circuits in your Dynaco PAS preamp - PC5 line preamp, PC6 phono preamp, selector switch, volume control, balance control, selenium rectifiers and capacitor for the filament supply, multi cap can capacitor, PA211 power transformer, RCA sockets and incandescent pilot light.
You will
loose
the following functions of your PAS preamp - Tone controls, blend switch, filter switch and loudness switch.
You will
retain
the following parts/functions of your Dynaco PAS preamp - Tape/Input switch, knobs, chassis, face plate and power switch.
We also strongly recommend that you replace the power cord with a modern 3 way power cord which has the GROUND prong and connect that ground to your PAS chassis.
What you will end up with a 'brand new' PAS preamp
So that you would not end up with holes in your face plate, we recommend that you retain all the switches and controls in their spots which no longer function with this kit!
