Dart Board Backboard - Reclaimed Pallet Wood
A beautiful addition to any game room/man cave. Made with 100% real wood. Every backboard starts with very rough pallets- the more weathered the better! Pallet wood is usually rough-sawn with multiple nail holes etc. using a combination of hardwoods (mostly Oak).
I bust the pallets apart using the slats for the back and some extra thick slats for the support pieces and the shelf. The shelf has holes drilled to hold the darts. It is sanded smooth to remove the splinters, but not too much to remove the character of the wood. So it will have interesting original saw marks, knots, gouges and brandings which make every piece unique.
It's stained a beautiful dark walnut color- and finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed Danish Oil.
