Nikolaus means Santa in German and this doll was a Special 2002 Edition of the Gotz handcrafted line.
The doll has brown colored, set in eyes with eyelashes and painted eyebrows.  The lips are also painted.  White curly wig and beard are made of synthetic material and can not be washed.
Nikolaus is wearing brown colored, wool-like pants and a burgundy and beige colored, striped shirt.  The maroon colored wool-like winter coat has a 2 button front closure and faux fur trim.
Forest green colored, knit socks and matching cap, black vinyl tie shoes and a beige sack with brown drawstring complete the outfit.
The original  box, Gotz bracelet, hand numbered certificate of authenticity and Gotz quality label are all included.  See photos.  The doll's vinyl body is also hand numbered.
Very good condition.  The original box and quality label have a shopworn appearance.  Original clothing is not torn of stained.  The knit cap is attached to the coat with a plastic connector.
Not for children under 3 years.  Small parts, choking hazard.
Clean and from a smoke free home.
