Carver SD/A-490T Vacuum Tube Reference CD Player Rack Coaxial Optical (AB)

Description

Up for grabs is this fantastic Carver vacuum tube 490t CD player set. This unit is extremely hard to find today especially complete with the original remote that came with it. The original disc loading belt was replaced just prior to posting this listing with a fresh one and all dust was cleaned out from inside the unit. I included a picture at the end of the top cover off showing how clean the internals are and of the vacuum tubes lit up while it was powered on. Regarding condition of both the remote and unit, there are only 2 slight "flaws" I want to point out. The unit has a couple scratches around the disc drawer opening (very minor in my opinoin), and the remote battery cover was originally missing. To remedy the missing battery cover, I designed a near identical replacement in CAD and 3D printed a new one on my printer. It snaps and holds into place with a positive click just like the original did. Discs load up quickly and all playback functions work great along with all other functions.
