    Description

    These rare tube amps are from a Canadian kit maker/designer called Cal-Tech ltd. Model se-845
    These were built by a novice so the soldering work, etc. is sub par. These are working well at this point but a tad noisy. However, it may be inherent in the beast given soooo much voltage. The plates run at 1,000v dc!!!They produce 22 watt’s ch single-ended power. I do not recommend shipping them unless you are a tech or know someone who is as they have so many added capacitors, etc and siliconed in place, etc. The meters are both new as the previous versions had one fail. The big key to these being classics would be the Tamradio Japanese biltrite transformers. Model F-2013. VERY rare!  The amps are guaranteed to work if picked up locally. Again, not sure how they would handle shipping and handling. the amps are being sold as-is due to this but I promise they currently work and sound great! The bidding is starting at the value of the transformers alone! Please have a clear understanding of this. I have also some basic schematics of the amps and their progress.
