    Description

Wow wow wow..Here is a vintage MO 100 Bogen 100 W tube amplifier!!
Originally designed for PA applications, they went the extra mile and made it a very rugged high fidelity amplifier, very suited to home audiophile use.
It’s made to run at 100 W all day long.  You can see it in the pictures, out on our picnic table with the one kilohertz sine wave signal going in and 100 to 120 watts RMS to a 16 ohm load resistor.
Underneath it’s in fine shape no overtly hot or burned components. This is a premium quality Bogen MO-100, which are getting mighty scarce.
If you have a love of old vintage tube amplifiers, you cannot do much better than a MO-100.
These have been recently priced at over ,000,  we want to move this one along so the starting bid price is a low, low 0.
Please note at this low price we have opted to not include the four 8417 tubes needed, they are currently selling for around 0 each.
Sorry, but I need the tubes to test out a few other amplifiers coming up for sale in a few weeks.  If you have a few of these tubes lying around you can put them to good use in this amplifier.
Remember, you get the 60-day unconditional warranty.  Send it back for a full refund within 60 days.   Our return rate has been running under 2% for the last 20 years, so you're likely to be very satisfied with this purchase.
Please note that eBay often gives very high shipping cost estimates, please double check yourself to the cost of 37 pounds from 55418.  It may be much less than the eBay displayed estimate!
Bid now!   These do not pop up often on eBay.
Shipping weight is a heavy 37 pounds, it has very rugged power and output transformers, good to 10 Hz and that is only possible with pounds and pounds of real iron.
Better get a sturdy shelf ready for this beauty.
I am only selling it because literally the garage attic floor is sagging from all the nice old vintage equipment, the stuff has to go or the garage needs a ,000 rebuild.
On Jun-22-21 at 13:08:16 PDT, seller added the following information:
Hey, more good news, this is actually a MO-100A.
The "A" suffix probably means added goodness.
I know the early ones had a bit of instability, perhaps they addressed that issue.
Also it has silicon rectifiers for the bias, not selenium.
