APES OF JAPAN MARMIT MONSTER HEAVEN 22CM KING KONG 1962 1967 SET!  WHAT WE HAVE FOR YOU TODAY IS AN INCREDIBLY RARE SET OF PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED SECRET MARMIT FIGURES, THE 1962 KONG AND THE 1967 KONG.  THESE ARE BRAND NEW, NEVER PLAYED WITH OR DISPLAYED, ONLY KEPT IN STORAGE. These have the same heavy, quality build, you would expect from marmit. Gorgeous with tons of articulation.
The "Apes of Japan" King Kong stands almost 9 inches tall, and perfectly matches the Marmit Monster Heaven line of figures in size, sculpt and paint style.
There are 2 mold variations of the figure. Both have the same body sculpt, but one has the head of the 1967 Kong (King Kong Escapes) while the other has that of the more well-known '62 (vs. Godzilla) Kong.
The1962 King Kong is molded in black with brown highlights in the fur. The areas of exposed skin are highlighted in a warm, gray.
The 1967 King Kong is molded in black with very light brown highlights in the fur.  The areas of exposed skin are highlighted in a warm, gray.
Additional Info: These figures are officially labeled as "Gorilla 1"  and "Gorilla 2" by APES. It represents King Kong from the 1962 film King Kong VS Godzilla and King Kong from the 1967 film King Kong Escapes. But because of licensing issues, it was given the name Gorilla 1 and Gorilla 2.
