    Ampex 601 Recorder Vintage Reel to Reel Transport (No head assy., case, or preamps)
    Here's a 1950s/60s reel to reel transport from Ampex.
    Made in USA and built like a tank, it's ideal for parts to restore another unit.
    This unit was the stereo version, with wiring in place to connect heads. [no head stack is included, however]
    Missing is the main belt, one of the original transport knobs, and there's a loose wire.
    But for the price, a good parts machine. Or maybe it could have a second life?
    No returns, of course...
