ADCOM GFP-1A Vintage Stereo Preamplifier with Original Owner's Manual.
Up for sale is my vintage ADCOM GFP-1A stereo preamplifier. I purchased this preamp new in the early 80s from the Heathkit store on Roswell Road in Atlanta, GA. I still have the original owner's manual in mint condition. The preamp has never been serviced and so is completely original. I believe this is as clean an example of a GFP-1A as I've seen for sale or has sold recently.
I used the preamp only occasionally in my home recording studio, and it has been in conditioned storage for the past 5 years. I have verified that the preamp powers up and that it operates properly on at least the Tuner and DAD line-level inputs. However, that is the extent of the testing that I have done.
Due to the age of this vintage preamp, I am selling this strictly as is. Please look at all the photos carefully, and ask any questions you may have before bidding or buying.
