    Description

    Relic Audio amplifiers are based on vintage amplifier designs from the 1950s. The Relic 902 is an amplifier circuit similar to the original Pilot AA-902 introduced in 1953. The power supply in the Relic 902 has been beefed up from the original with a 200ma power transformer rectified with a 5U4GB tube rectifier. A choke filter has also been added for better filtration. The original Pilot was a mono amplifier. The Relic Audio version is stereo. Output is about 12 watts per channel. Output transformers are rated at 25 watts, so the amp has plenty of headroom. Overall a very sweet sounding amp.
