The History of this Honda CB750
Owners
This is a very original low mileage vintage Honda CB750. The previous owner purchased the bike in a near new condition with 1700 miles on the clock back in 1977. My father purchased the bike a few years ago with 17,000 miles on the bike, did all the necessary mechanical items (see more on that below) and now the bike sits ready to ride with a shade over 20,000 miles.
Mechanical
The whole bike was gone through by my father in the last 3000 miles, a grey hair who has been riding and maintaining bikes for nearly 60 years.
The engine in this bike is like new. Dad adjusted the cam chain, valves, points, set the timing, fresh spark plugs, carbs were cleaned and rebuilt, new air filter.
Chassis bearings/bushings were cleaned, replaced where required and lubed up. Wheel bearings are new. Forks were rebuilt, fresh oil and seals. New chain and sprockets. Front and rear brakes were rebuilt, calipers, master cylinders, new pads and fresh fluid.
Tires have less than 3000 miles on them
Some Modifications
aftermarket 4 into 1 exhaust
Original Vetter Faring - this faring has custom mount to sit lower on the bike (look at others and you will notice how much better this one looks)
Custom seat with an original Kawasaki Z1 tail section (Original Honda seat and tail section included in sale)
18 inch front wheel for slightly sharper handling (stock 19" included in sale)
Hard saddle bags (not shown but included in sale)
Clip-on bars (on top of the forks for better comfort)
Other Notes
The stock side covers are included in the sale, but are cracked/broken around some of the mounting tabs. I think you could repair them if you wish or find some others on eBay.
Dad never got around to painting the tail section yellow to match the tank, but he does have the paint (matched by English Color). So with a few hours of work you can color match the bike if you wish.
