    Description

The Honda CB 750 Four is one of the most important motorcycles in history. A legend that is appreciating in value by the day. This particular 1971 CB750 is finished in the "one year only" Valley Green Metallic paint. An original condition bike with a two owner history. A true survivor! Originally bought new in San Diego, California where it spent most of its life until it was acquired by the second owner in Mendocino, California. To ensure that the engine remains leak free, a top end rebuild was done 700 miles ago in 2020, replacing valves, Gaskets, Piston Rings and Cylinder honing to accommodate for the new rings. The work was performed by a local reputable vintage Honda shop. Documentation of the work will be handed over to the new owner. Original tool kit remains intact. Transmission shifts smoothly through the gears with ease. Carburetors have been completely gone through and synced. Cases (engine) are original to the frame and free from any damage that a chain breakage would leave behind. The tank is rust free on the inside and comes with it is a new fuel petcock. A new battery has been installed together with a new robust O-ring drive chain. Forks were gone through with new seals and gaters. A set of reproduction rear shocks were installed for better ride quality. The old and swollen brake line was replaced for added safety. Its original seat was wrapped with a period correct (year) replica seat cover. The four into one Kerker exhaust is original to the bike, installed by the original owner in the 70's. All in all, a smooth running bike that has been gone through and turnkey for the next custodian to enjoy.
    Included parts:
