    Here's a hard-to-find
factory-built Atwater Kent 4445 breadboard radio, also known as the Model 9.
    Condition is excellent throughout.
Glossy brown bakelite parts everywhere (with no scratches, no cracks, no chips anywhere); original wiring; original staples, original paper tags (all 3 of them); original feet are still intact on the underside of the board; no re-wiring, stain-free wire still tightly wound around the tuner forms.  Tuning dials are like new, and they turn easily. Beautiful brass hardware with minimal tarnish and no corrosion. Original binding post nuts and small hardware on the TA island, and original binding post nuts on board.  Board finish is original, with normal checking consistent with age and authenticity. Original potting tar is still intact in the TA island, the original AF transformers are undisturbed, and the original wiring is still running to the tube sockets.
Comes with a complete set of good filament brass base, tipped 01A tubes.
The radio is being offered for historical purposes only, with no assurances stated or implied that it's still suitable for broadcast reception.
That's about it. I will pack everything carefully and properly, and I can assure you that it will show up at your doorstep in the same fine condition in which its leaves mine.  I have been shipping antique phonographs and radios for years, and if you check my feedback, you'll see that I know how to do it correctly.
